Welcome

I am an astrophysicist working on accretion and ejection processes in compact objects. I am an Assistant Professor at the 'Université Paris Diderot'. My research involves theory as well as observation. I am currently focused on the unification of accreting objects of all types and mass scales. As all emission components scale with black hole mass I consider it to be important to combine all observable wavelengths, especially radio, optical and X-rays.

My current projects, publications and a CV can be found in the 'Research' section.

My name contains a German Umlaut. Thus, you will sometimes see it written as Koerding or misspelled as Kording.

This domain is also used for email distribution by my brother Konrad and my father Alfred.
